The Dark Knight Rises Trailer Will Break You!

No point in going into too much detail here. We all know that Batman Begins and The Dark Knight were great, or you probably wouldn't be reading any of this.

One thing that crossed my mind, however, is the first two movies may be blinding my perception of The Dark Knight Rises (too obvious?). The trailer, which you will see below, is good, but left me a bit disappointed.

I have full faith in Nolan, so an underwhelming first trailer does not worry me. I should just enjoy it for its own merits, but that is easier said than done. Ah well, head past the break and let me know what you think.

Christmas Is All About The Presents

You heard that right, folks. When you think Christmas, you think about what you need to get your kid(s), sibling(s), parents, etc. Most importantly, you think about the gifts you will be receiving.

We are all greedy at heart, it's human nature. I am not afraid to admit it (although, I am not greedy all of the time, just on occasions such as Xmas), and you shouldn't be either. A little bit of greed never hurt anybody...at least not recently.

So don't worry about your family coming into town, or the hard work your parents put in everyday. Head over to the tree, shake some of your gifts, and begin to guess what goody may be wrapped so nicely.

Tip Of The Week: Call Of Duty Is A Cash Cow

Yeah, so, this is not really a tip, but rather an obvious fact. Call of Duty is a cash cow, whether it's the same rehashed game every year, or not.

To my last point there: I am one of those suckers who continue to invest in these games, even though I know it is basically an expansion pack. Not sure what it is, really. Could be that all of my friends play it, the multiplayer is chaotic (mostly in a good way) and deep, or it could be because I am brainwashed -- leaning towards the latter on this one.

As many of you loyal fans may already know, Modern Warfare 3 surpassed $1 billion just 16 days after it's launch on November 8th. Umm...that is one hell of a number, and you need to give credit where credit is due.

One thing you can bet, a new Call of Duty title will continue to be released year after year....after year, after year. So those of us that continue to bitch about it better get a nice seat cushion, because we are in for a long ride.

The Hangover Treatment, Subway Style

One of the most important things, after a successful night of being a belligerent drunk, is the food you eat the day after. You need to find that right balance of: Not too filling, yet extremely satisfying meal.

Typically, a solid bowl of cereal will do the trick, but today I figured I would do a little experimenting. Ok, maybe I shouldn't say experimenting, as I did not make the sub -- Subway had a big hand in this.

My sub/sandwich of choice, you ask? The Western Egg & Cheese. Good protein (egg whites), with a tiny kick (peppers and Chipotle Southwest sauce). Any headache or mid-late morning munchies should be cured with this tasty treat.

I may still be a bit tipsy, but I know what I am talking about here...I think. Hell, just give it a try and let me know how it works out for you. Oh, and by the way, this is currently Subway's $5 footlong of the month.

Give Someone The BIG F**K YOU!

How often are you talking to someone, and the thought -- I really don't like this person -- comes creeping through your mind? I don't care how nice and calm of a person you are, this happens at least once a week, whether you want to admit it or not.

So why not look them dead in the eyes, ask them to shut their yapper for a second, then give them a solid middle finger? Because it's immature, unethical, ill-mannered...what? Yes, actually, it is not the proper thing to do.

It's the brutal truth that this is clearly the wrong path to choose for your "hate this person" predicament. However, I do feel we should be granted at least one pass per week, because, let's face it, some people need a middle finger from their opposing figure.

Oh, one more thing: Feel free say F**K YOU, give a smile, then pull your middle finger from between their eyes.
