The Dark Knight Rises Trailer Will Break You!

No point in going into too much detail here. We all know that Batman Begins and The Dark Knight were great, or you probably wouldn't be reading any of this.

One thing that crossed my mind, however, is the first two movies may be blinding my perception of The Dark Knight Rises (too obvious?). The trailer, which you will see below, is good, but left me a bit disappointed.

I have full faith in Nolan, so an underwhelming first trailer does not worry me. I should just enjoy it for its own merits, but that is easier said than done. Ah well, head past the break and let me know what you think.

See Tom Scale In New Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol Trailer

Tom Cruise may be a bit of an oddball, but the man kicks ass in just about every movie he is in. Seriously, Minority Report is one of my top 5 all-time favorite movies -- yes, Spielberg is the man, too.

Overall, the Mission: Impossible franchise has been pretty solid (I don't count the second installment), and Ghost Protocol looks to be carrying on this tradition.

If you don't think Tom Cruise scaling an 830 meter building (apparently, the tallest in the world) is cool, you need to get the hell outta here...but head past the jump for the trailer, first!

Redbox Raises DVD Rentals By 20 Cents, Hurts Our Wallets

So, I received an email today that Redbox will be raising the price of their DVD rentals by 20 cents (apparently their operating expenses are rising). The first thought that came to mind was: THIS IS MADNESS (300 did not play any part in this)!! If I rent 4 or 5 movies a week, there goes my pack of M&Ms I could have indulged in.

If you head to the FAQs page regarding the matter, you will notice the question: Will you ever go back down to $1 a day? Their response:
Redbox has no current plans to change prices again. But if you're interested in renting DVDs for a discounted price of $1 for the first day at Redbox, you still can when you reserve your rentals online! From 10/31 to 11/30, go to Redbox.com to reserve any DVD (even new releases) for $1 for the first day. Additional rental days will be $1.20.
I call BS! If they continue to dominate the movie rental market, these prices will surely inflate in due time. Possibly to...$1.29. *Shivers* I can't even stand the thought of it.

Hanna Container Park Chase Scene

This is easily one of the best action sequences I have witnessed in 2011. This is the one scene where we really get to see Hanna's skills, and she does not disappoint -- just ask the one pursuer she takes out with a few swipes/stabs of the knife.

Also, how can you not like the music? The soundtrack was hit or miss throughout, but The Chemical Brothers nailed this one!

Head past the jump to experience some awesome sauce!
